Holiday Experience at Cochin, Kerala - AVB0076176

Well, when writing about the Killians, there are two things that I am never going to forget. First and foremost is the manager Mr Stephen Sanjay! Yes that’s surprising but it is true. First thing you remember about this hotel is a person! Why not when he is someone who is genuinely interested in the welfare and service of his customers. He was very much involved not only with us but with all the customers and was trying to give best possible solution to their problems. This memory sure sticks with you for long.

And the second thing is the cleanliness and the hygiene. Everything right from the desks and chairs to the rooms, the bathrooms and of course, the provided amenities as well as the food: everything is so very spic and span. Since I went with my entire extended family, (with the holiday package arrangement of Antilog Vacations) the hygiene was of prime importance to us. There were 4 kids also with us so it became even more important. Speaking of kids, there is a small little swimming pool in the hotel which is a delight for them. Kids were perpetually in the pool for most of the time that we were inside the hotel and not visiting outside. Pool is also well maintained and hygienic, in quite acceptable condition if not to the best of the best standards.

Only thing I did not like was my room being very near to the pool. Pool might be good for fun but it’s not a very pleasant view from the room. That’s not the first thing you want to see when you look out of the window. The other rooms though offer a better view and since we were staying in quite a few rooms on different floors (we went as a big family holiday) I found that the rooms on the second floor and above provide much better view. Overall, a clean place with some excellent staff members including Mr Sanjay Stephen. And of course, a special thanks to our tour operator Antilog Vacations for the complete well management.
