Abad –Kerala Tour from Abhishek Agrawal

Trip – 10/10

My  trip to this resort was completed with an amazing experience of Abad castle & equally good  package by Antilog Vacations .Cheap rates & arranged tour is always a better proposition & it turned out to be a good experience. Now being a part of community & this mail to share my experience,it feels lot of good to post my experience here

Cooper castle is one of the resorts belonging to the Abad group of hotels & resorts. Cooper castle is located on a small hill & has a grand view of the hill. The resort is located in one of the most private quarters of munnar & hence you can have a completely secluded holiday.  You have some beautiful lakes near by where you can have a boat ride on special request.

The hotel has 3 types of rooms superior, deluxe & suite rooms. The superior rooms have telephones & television provided n the room. All rooms have attached bathrooms. The superior room has a small balcony around 10 – 15 square feet where you can get a good view of the gardens. The door to the balcony is a beautiful glass sliding door.  There is also a small sofa set near the balcony to have tea.

The room is decorated in cream color. The room also has a queen size bed. The room is carpeted. If you personally ask me I think the deluxe room is slightly more congested than the superior room. The deluxe room is divided into two, a sitting area & the bed room. Thus this takes up much of the space. The deluxe rooms are located in the ground floor & thus you have a lot of privacy. The suite rooms are centrally air conditioned, is the only room that has complimentary breakfast. You can also use the swimming pool & health club.  The suite room is pretty spacious in size and should measure around 200 square feet. This room has a little larger balcony that which has a view of the beautiful munnar mountains.

Café royal is the restaurant at Cooper castle. The restaurant is pretty simple in its approach. You get a magnificent view of the valley. The restaurant serves Indian, continental & Chinese food. They have a buffet style menu. Each table has 4 chairs and a pretty clean table cloth. The tables & chairs are made out of plastic.

Kudos to management for keeping the property just in shape & Antilog as usual give their worth most of the times

Total : 10/10 Antilog , 10/10 Abad Copper Castle

Heartland Hotel Cotswold Stay & Tour

From : Saurabh Jain – Rating 8/10 both

Stayed at this hotel in the 2nd week of April this year from AV, primarily speaking about the location of the hotel its located at a distance of 5minutes drive away from CBD and a 20 minutes by walk, our check in process was quite smooth and didn’t consumed much time, we were greeted well by all those smiling and welcoming staff at the check in area. & well assisted by our driver harish from AV

Ø  Our room is very big and spacious and the beds are of king size and very comfortable even so are the pillows, we had a bed room bath room and a lounge area, in lounge there was a very good wide screen television and another small one in bed room, and there was ample space and arrangements in lounge area as well as its décor is impressive, the furniture provided was of very high quality and is very good comfort wise, the only negative with the room is its walls are very thin and we can easily get disturbed from the noises coming out from adjoining rooms, its better having some ear plugs plugged in to get good sleep, other than that every thing is fine

Ø  Staff are very good at their duty, they are always handy when needed one, there service is also very professional
Ø  Food at this hotel is good even though not awesome, there are 2 restaurants at this hotel, the Tudors which is located up stairs and another French one, the décor of the bar and restaurant of Tudors is quite different and attractive even their set menu option is also good

Ø  Swimming pool is maintained well, even though didn’t dared swimming in cold water taking in to constraint the prevailing weather there which is extreme

Ø  The free shuttle service provided by the hotel too Antarctic Centre is worthy
Ø  The connectivity of this hotel to near by restaurants and places is also quite good

Kerala Trip by Antilog & Hotel Arches

Submitted by: PJ

Antilog : 9/10
Just got a link to this Blog, thanks .So here goes my experience .last year on my trip to Kerala. I was supposed to join my friends in Alleppey (they were coming from other places and our ultimate destination was Trivandrum after 5 days where our friend was getting married). So I was alone and decided to stay in Arches hotel for just 1 night as I had to travel the next afternoon to Alleppey. The best part I did was to book the whole tour package. It saved me bucks & made travel hasslefree.I chose Antilog Vacations because of their high trust level & the did played their part. Another thing I am full of praise for is the courteous and hard working customercare ( Punit & Vishal), which do everything possible to make customers delighted and provide good level of service. And the post sales  also help out in all they can by taking care of the customers’ needs like quick response etc etc

.Hotel Arches , Cochin : 8/10
The room was very nice and clean. Though the bathroom fittings etc are old, they are working perfectly and it’s evident that the hotel is working properly on the maintenance. I personally was neither looking for nor desire a very luxurious room so this was actually above my expectations. The breakfast was also not bad. I am a totally breakfast person, especially when it comes to tours and vacations and when I have to go visit out all day after the food. Thus I attach much significance to a good breakfast and thus I would say that the hotel can do slightly better in having more items, and also serving them more innovatively. May be having a buffet system won’t be a bad idea. But otherwise things were fine.
The restaurant on the rooftop was a refreshing change and even the view was good from there. Another very nice thing about this hotel is its excellent location, very much in the center of fort kochi. The fishing nets are very near to this hotel so one can start the tour from there itself. At least I did. A nice place I think if one is looking for a short stay of 1-2 nights.
