Antilog Vacations Kashmir Review - AVB0079840

Honeymoons are once in a lifetime experience and I wanted it to be memorable. With my friend’s recommendation I decided to book the trip through the travel site Antilog Vacations. The site specializes in honeymoon packages and I booked the The Vintage – Gulmarg in Kashmir as our place of stay. I took this great decision after getting a positive response from tripadvisor.

The first thing which caught our eyes on the way there was that the place was nicely secluded from the commotion and chaos of the main market place. We needed to take a small curved muddy road beside the main road to reach the resort. However the resort provides drop to the shopping centre on request. In that way we enjoyed the privacy of the resort in the mornings and had a good experience of Gulmarg in the evenings.

The room was large with a large double bed in the centre. The mattress was too comfy and we could have stayed there all day. All modern amenities like coffee maker, safe etc were present. There was an attached bath present in the room too. The bath had a grand collection of toiletries along with geyser facility, something essential in the chill weather. But the thing which really caught our attention was the wooden fireplace located in the west side of the room. The fireplace really amplified the beauty of the room and gave it a colonial feel.

The breakfast is complimentary and on request it is served on the lawns by the side of the garden. The wide buffet of English and Indian spread besides the garden has a princely feel and we thoroughly liked it. Just one point of concern in spite of so many positives – the bulb and the door knob of the bathroom were surprisingly not working and it was not replaced in our stay.
