It was pretty awesome to get a chance in Meghalaya like breathtaking place. It was a truly stunning place for nature lovers. Me and my friend planned this trip with the help of Antilog Vacations to fully explore the peaceful nature and stunning adventures of the place. Literally, we were completely free and relaxed to soak ourself in the surrounding beauty. We get the chance to closely witness the natural water pool, green jungles, walking trails, rope bridges, birds chirping, sunrise and local flora and fauna of the place.
I am a big fan of solo travelling and trekking like adventures. This time, I was in the company of my friend Alok. As per the customised planned holiday from Antilog Vacations, we firstly visit Guwahati and cover journey up to Shillong. We had proper time for local sightseeing and after night stay, we transferred to Cherrapunji as per the planned next destination. Basically, it was the major and most exciting part of our journey where we had to start our trek from base village Tyrna. During this exhilarating and awesome experience, we also got a chance to cross two river passes.
Make sure about the basic points of your age and fitness before such kind of treks. Because the area has several other stunning wonders with the simplicity and serenity of the place. Besides all the other attractions, don’t miss out the scenic view of Nohkalikai Falls. With the photogenic backdrop, It is also renowned as a tallest waterfall of India. Rainy season is good to get the actual glimpses of the waterfall. Overall, a big thanks to Antilog Vacations team for offering us great expected time. We were well satisfied with our stay, food, transfer and sightseeing attractions. Highly recommended place, especially for the people who loves idyllic location of village life just like in our childhood memories.
Basically, we were not in the mood to leave this heavenly place. But, as per the time limits and fixed schedule we have to return back with a lot of inner peace and calm. It’s for sure, I will definitely visit again in such perfect and relaxed natural setup.
