Cruise Ride - Singapore to Phuket AVB0097157

Superstar Virgo is a tremendous experience to have. I did the Singapore to Phuket cruise and the ship is commendable with a very luxurious onboard infrastructure. The whole board is decorated beautifully and it looks impressive. There is a whole world situated on the ship with all the facilities, the only difference being that, you are actually sailing in the ocean. The ship has very impressive technical facts too. The sailing speed reaches a maximum of 25 knots 46 kph. The length of this gigantic ship is around 800 feet.

The cabins are wonderfully built with classy taste of interiors and furnishing. The balcony class cabin was chosen by us and it had all the necessary amenities. There were 2 single beds attached with each other and that made for enough of sleeping space. The mattress and all the other things were also clean and fresh. There was a TV with cable connection. One disappointment was that there was no refrigerator in the cabin. There was enough of desk and drawer, hanging space.

There were ample of activities onboard for all ages and people from any country. From computer games to movies, from ballroom dancing to cabaret shows, spa & massage facility, gym to night parties, there's always something to do onboard. But what missed the board was some quiet area for lounging or having a sound time relaxing. There is an Art Gallery, Onboard shopping, Ports O’Call, Starlight Video Arcade (Video games and onboard shopping), a library and much more. But it is difficult to find a quiet niche in the noon time.

The sport activities included a Parthenon Pool, aquaswim – the jet current swimming pool, Universal Gym and star track jogging circuit. There was the amphitheatre where board games like chess, scrabble, checkers etc. could be enjoyed + there was table tennis too available there.

There were many places to eat at and many genres of food were available there. The ticket price included The Mediterranean Buffet, The Mediterranean Terrace, the Bella Vista and the Pavilion. The food everywhere was nice. There was an ice cream parlour too named Cafe Gelato. The ice creams were very nice.

A lot of variety could be found there. There was Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Continental and genuine Indian too. The service was not 5 star but still pretty good. Galaxy of the Stars was the live music spot and there was always some scintillating show going on. It was fun to be there with friends and family. Rest, there are many other such places on board like The Lido, Star Club and the Celebrity (Vodka Lounge).

As a whole, a nice package to enjoy with family. A special thanks to my tour operator ‘Antilog Vacations’. They offer all of it at quite a small price as compared to the services offered. Definitely, a memorable experience and worth the money!
