Lucius Zafalon, France -Trip to North & Central India AVB0096526

Hey guys, my special thanks to you and your management during my solo trip. It was almost two months when I've discussed the entire planning with my tour operators (Antilog Vacations). I am Lucius Zafalon, from France and basically it was a part of my confidence which I gained through my solo travel and I've been travelling round the North and Central India for about 4 weeks. Now, I want to share my experience with all because I've got no one else on my tour to share all this HAHAHA!

I'm a female at 23, this is the first time I've been away from family, home and country. I was a lil bit nervous with the part of my solo travel, but with my independence and well managed services of antilog vacations, I quickly adapt the things without any introvert or lonely feeling. I was completely fine with my own company. After reading my experience, it is quite surprising for a lot of the people to know about a solo travel of a young girl. Even, it is quite interesting for my friends and relatives for them, I was a shy girl.

Well, a want to share a huge part of this credit with Antilog Vacations, a local tour planner from India or can say my only & only recognizable identity on an absolutely new place. During my safe and comfortable stay, I learnt how to meet new people. Definitely, a solo travel for a female has pros and cons. But, if I'd the same choice, then I would still the same and pick solo traveling for me to improve my confidence. Night time and heavy luggage are the downsides of this kind of journey.

At a certain time, the feeling of loneliness may surround you, but you can cover it with the several awesome things. When you've a sense to see or talk a person close to you then ready to come back home. For the youngsters, solo traveling is a lifetime experience, especially who want to prove anything with their independence or confidence. Besides all the things, my journey doesn't stop here and I'll definitely proceed it and collect the different experiences and it is for sure that I'll have Antilog Vacations named travel buddy with me on my future trips.

Antilog Vacations - 5/5

Recently I organized a Rajasthan Tour for our company Staff. We achieved our yearly targets and I have a team of 80 under me. So we got bonus and a week for the chill out time. I was worried about where to go and how to plan.

Then I searched for group packages, and I came across with Antilog Vacations Traditional Rajasthan Tour. I booked the package from 1st to 8th March 2014 for Rs. 34000 Per Person. When inquired, I saw a live chat option on the website. And the customer care executive assigned Mr. Suraj Kumar as our tour manager. I gave details to Suraj, we were 80 people as we were good in numbers so our total tour cost was around Rs 27 lakhs & we got 4000 rs discount per head.

All the arrangement were made by him and he provided us a local tour manager who was from Jaipur and he was waiting for us on Jaipur Airport. After we checked in the hotel our evening was planned in Chokhi Dhani, where we enjoyed the pure rajasthani thali.. it gave the glimpse of Traditional Rajasthan. 1st day spent in Hotel Grand Chanakya was completely mind blowing. It’s interior was contemporary and delighting.

Next day we moved to Jodhpur, we left @ 7 A.M. after breakfast and reached around 12 PM.. after checked in to hotel we enjoyed Daal Bhati Churma and other Rajasthani food. Our Tavera Driver was aware of the ways and the places we were taken very well.. That day we had jodhpur tour and Next morning we left for Jaisalmer.. again around 6 hours Comfortable travel.. we checked in hotel Jaisalgarh with authentic rajasthani outlook and Yummy food. Then Jaisalmer to Bikaner.. Full tour was perfectly managed. Abhinav Chawla, our tour manager and the organizer of the tour. He took care of all our transports and he ensured our stay to be comfortable and we cover most places and with full enjoyment.

Such a delighting experience and my whole team was very happy with the services of Antilog Vacations.

Kerala Trip Experience-AVB2096884

Antilog Vacations - 4/5 ,Hotel 4/5

I am a well satisfied customer of Antilog Vacations with my recent experience.. in Oct 2015. I travelled to Kerala with my Wife and 3 years old daughter on my 6th anniversary. Before this travel, I go through several websites, but at last booked my tour with Antilog. During this 6 day journey, I just wanted to spend relaxing time with my family. Reasonable budget and easy to deal are the best parts of this tour agency. Simply, I left my details on website and within 30 mins, I received a call back about the complete information on available packages. A sales executive from Antilog vacations mailed me the entire details, including hotels and other charges.

Then, I used a quick step of final booking through Axis Debit Card payment to pay  for my Kerala Package. Before the day of leaving, I got the entire contact details about hotel manager, cab number and related ones from the associated executive. We covered a quite comfortable journey from Kochi to Munnar, especially with my 3 year old daughter. After this long travel, we got a timely transfer from railway station to our hotel with a help of Antilog vacations local representative. Hotel Tea County gave us a comfortable and relaxing environment, where we had breakfast and some rest. Thanks to our relaxing journey where we had a nice sleep and fully enjoy our holiday without any restlessness.

With a perfect schedule management, our hotel manager informed us about already booked taxi for us. After the breakfast (within the package), we moved to Echo Point. We fully enjoyed the serene surroundings of tea plantation. We also did the shopping and timely back to hotel with an excellent driving of our driver. Similarly, we fixed the next day schedule and covered the popular sites of Anamudi Peak, Elephant Headed Hill, highest peak in Sahyadris, Cheeyappara Waterfalls and several other sites of this hill station. Here, I want to appreciate the punctuality and responsibility of our driver and tour guide.

We also captured the memorable photographs of such sightseeings and incredible views. Even our tour guide helped us in clicking family photographs. During this 5 nights package, I received a daily call from Antilog's sales executive about the assurance of their services and the part of anything needed from our side. On third day, we checked out from Munnar hotel to proceed to Thekkady. After covering around 3 hours distance, we reached Thekkady and check in Abad Green Forest. We got a warm welcome with generous and proficient hotel staff. In the evening, we covered an energetic and magical performance of Kadathanadan Kalari Centre performers.

In the next morning, SreeKumar (local guide) was waiting for us with his car. We spent whole joyful day by visiting Periyar Lake, Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and enjoy plenty of activities like boating, rafting, trekking and wildlife spotting. In the evening, SreeKumar dropped us to our hotel. After a relaxing sleep, we ready for next visit to Alleppey. In the morning, we covered the distance up to Alleppey. After check-in, we visited the famous attractions like Mannarasala temple, Alappuzha Beach, Marari Beach and fully enjoyed our day with swimming, fishing, sunset and local food.

Overnight at Palm Beach Resort and planned to say Goodbye to Alleppey. In the next day morning, we covered the distance of Alleppey to Kochi and greeted by Antilog’s representative. Here, I want to appreciate a continuous and responsible bond between the sales executive and with all the other drivers, guide and hotel staff. In a quite reasonable manner, I covered an awesome journey. Memorable trip to Kerala (2 Nights in Munnar, 2 Nights in Thekkady and 1 Night in Alleppey) with full value and services. A big thanks to wonderful tour operator Antilog Vacations and I will definitely plan my next holiday soon.

Surprise Goa Trip - Pranay Shinde-AVB1078676

Antilog - 5/5
Last Year my friend went to Goa with his wife for a holiday and stayed in Grand Goa Exotiga, this year on 10th feb, I decided to go Goa on valentines day with my wife to give her a sweet surprise.  So I planned a sudden tour. I reside in Mumbai so I decided to go by Volvo. I was searching for options but I did not find any as the time was only of a couple of days. Neither the seats was available in the bus not the room in hotel they said if there will be any cancellation then they will tell us on the day itself. I decided so late. Then I saw a flash add of Antilog Vacations.com somewhere and without much hope I visited the website and searched options.
And 1st I searched for the package and I was amazed that room was available and rates were also genuine only Rs. 12700 with Volvo booking option. I got a call from the customer care of Antilog Vacations for the confirmation and 30 mins later I got the call from Volvo for the confirmed seat numbers and they took my email id for emailing the tickets.
After this I booked the package and paid by my credit card, I got free coupons of rs 300 for online shopping which can be used till a month. Indirectly I got discount. And I got the call from hotel too, their manager confirmed the booking.

Where I lost hope that I ll be able to give the surprise or not, then Antilog Vacations.com did not let me down. I can say where there is a will, there is Antilog Vacations. And I decided to use only Antilog for my next all visits and travels.

8 Best Indian Vacation spots to beat the Summer Heat | Antilog Vacations

Nainital: Of Serene Locals and Glorious sunset…

Like most amazing hill stations of India, Antilog Vacations says Nainital is affected by a regular traffic.  At an height of 1938 m above the sea level, Nainital, the lake region of Uttrakhand, keeps on buzzing with travelers, corporate and leisure, from different corners of the world during the summer season. And why it shouldn’t be, the city offers numberless activities, which makes it on the radar of every traveller.

Strolling on mall road, enjoying boating, and view of the sunset from the snow point, everything about this hill station fascinates tourists. Venya is surely going to love this as where she can enjoy sailing over the Naini Lake, spot some endangered high altitude animals at the zoo, and experience the thrilling cable car ride. If your kids like skating, then you can take them to Zoom land. Offbeat attractions nearby Nainital like Saattal, Bheemtal, Naukuchiyatal, and Khurpatal are also some attractive holiday spots. You can even go for a soothing drive to Corbett National Park to make your kids summer holiday wild and adventurous. After reading so much about it, I feel like going to this place now.

Manali- Perfect family holiday destination

Antilog Vacations says Ahh.. Manali! When the summer reaches its peak and the sizzling sun treats you with a 35to 45 degree, the only place to visit on mostly North Indian people mind is MANALI. It’s soothing environment, breezy air, and bountiful vistas make it one of the best summer vacation place in India. Nestled at an altitude of 2050 m, in the Beas River Valley, Manali offers spectacular views, gurgling water streams and an array of kid-friendly activities. Earlier, I was little muddled about whether I should take Venya here due to its high altitude. But after a 2-hour exploration and scrutinising session, I realised that missing it in my list would be a big mistake. When on a trip to Manali, tourists can take their kids to Rohtang Pass, where they can enjoy yak and ropeway ride. Besides this, you can also introduce your kid to Buddhist culture by visiting the magnificent monasteries and ancient temples beholding legendary stories. During your holidays in Manali, you can visit Hadimba Temple, Solang Valley, Vashisht Village, Naggar, and Rahala Falls for sightseeing.

Kashmir Valley: India’s answer to Switzerland

Agar firdous baroye zameen ast, hami asto, hami asto hami ast” – Amir-e-Khusru Dehluvi (If there is paradise on earth, It is here, it is here, it is here) These were the wise words stated by the great poet Persian poet, Amir-e-Khusru Dehluvi, when he was left awestruck by the beauty of Kashmir. No doubt it’s a paradise on this earth and many people keep on saying this thing …’Go to Kashmir’. Antilog Vacations says  zillions of things about its beauty, but according to me, there are very fewer words that can elucidate the mysticism’s that this city boasts. Speaking about the best summer holidays for children in India, Kashmir Valley is something you shouldn’t miss. Though the city has been a talk of the town due to many interferences, yet this charming city with amiable hospitality can make you forget all the disturbances and scorching city life that has baked, sterile your working life. Coming back to my agenda, where should I visit in Kashmir? Well, my research says I should begin with Srinagar, Rajauri,Gulmarg, Sonmarg, Pahalgam and Kishtwar. Starting with Srinagar, here you can go for a soothing Shikhara ride over the dal lake, indulge in water skiing (if your kids are minimum 12 years of age) or can visit orchards to pluck some apples from the trees. If your kids are more of nature lovers, then you can visit the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden to see the mesmerising and eye soothing tulips. April, May and June are the best time to visit Tulip Garden as the flowers are in its full bloom. One place where tourists in large number throng is Gulmarg, a popular hill station in Kashmir. The major attraction in Gulmarg is the two-tiered Gulmarg Gondola ride, world’s second highest cable car which connects Kongdoori and Apparwath Peak. Chances of experiencing snowfall are quite bright here, thus, here one can indulge in activities like snowboarding, skiing, and sledging. Besides tourists can also visit Sonmarg, an offbeat attraction in Kashmir, which’s hard to reach but has many interesting things to offer. Summer is the best time to visit Kashmir as the place looks like a mosaic of varying shades of green – rice fields, meadows, trees, etc. and Srinagar with its lakes and waterways is a heaven after the scorching heat of the Indian plains.

Ranikhet- Uber Cool Destination of summer

A perfect escape from the scorching heat of the summer, Ranikhet holds a charismatic layer of grasses dotted with wildflowers. Home to military quarters, peaceful parks dotted kaleidoscope of flowers, and gorgeous temples, Ranikhet is one of the laid back hill station of North India for summers that is hardly explored by tourists. Those who want to relax, rejuvenate and love to live in the harmony with nature, should visit Ranikhet. Antilog Vacations says if travelling with kids, take a trip to Chaubatia Orchard, the garden captivates kids to such an extent that they can spend years just by lying on the turfs and relishing the view. In the garden, kids can see two hundred varieties of flowers and fruits. If you have kids older than 12 years, you can go for trekking from Gagas to Dwarahat. You can also consider a visit to some pilgrimage sites like Mankameshwar, Binsar Mahadev, and Haidakhan Temple.

Darjeeling – Wonderland of the East

In my four years of travelling experience with Venya, I have realized that she love train journey, especially the part when she peaks outside the window and spot animals, colours, and hills. Antilog Vacations says keeping her interest in my mind, I think Darjeeling would be an incredible place to visit as she can enjoy the toy train ride. The train runs between New Jalpaiguri and Darjeeling. Tourists have exploited Darjeeling, but the silhouette of the city is still maintained, and it had managed to keep hold of its old world charm. Surrounded by well-manicured gardens and towered by majestic Khangchendzonga peak, here one can indulge in perfect summer holidays. Toy Train is one thing that you should try, besides you can also visit the Tiger Hill to see the silhouette of magnificent birds gliding below the sun. A ride on the Darjeeling-Rangit passenger cable car or the ropeway can be a thrilling experience for your kids. Singalila National Park, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Observatory Hill, Japanese Peace Pagoda, and Neora Valley National Park are some famous attractions of Darjeeling that has lots to offer to its visitors.

Sikkim – A slice of India’s heaven

Slice of India’s heaven lies in Sikkim. A visit to the northern part of Sikkim can soothe your soul with its luscious mountains, sprawling forest and fresh air. Small in size and colossal in beauty, Antilog Vacations says North Sikkim is an ultimate destination for summer vacation which any traveller shouldn’t miss. When on a summer holiday with kids, you can visit monasteries, lush biospheres, garrulous waterfalls and shimmering lakes. There are many breathtaking destinations in Sikkim where one can go to spend ideal summer holiday. Confined within the vast ecosphere of Sikkim are some places like Lachung, Yumthang Valley, Lachen, Chungthang, and Thangu, boasting the diorama of different ethnicities like Lepchas, Nepalese and Bhutia. Hence, it’s a great place to meet and greet people from various cultures. A picturesque town in the North-Eastern region of Sikkim, Lachung is a tiny village, few kilometres away from Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary. If your health and kids get acclimatise, you can head out to Thangu to savour the impeccable view of Kanchenjunga range. Another summer retreat in North Sikkim is Lachen, a tiny settlement amidst the snow clad mountains and famed for Gurudongmar Lake and Lhamu Lake. Besides, tourists can visit neighbouring places like Ravangla, Gangtok, and Kampong.

Mahabaleshwar- For a perfect Family Holiday

Keeping in mind kid’s love for fruits, I have listed Mahabaleshwar on my blog. A former capital of Bombay Presidency, Mahabaleshwar is a gem of Western Ghats, perched at an elevation of 1372 metres in Satara district of Maharashtra and is quite famed for strawberry farms. Mahabaleshwar offers soothing environment so tourists can savour the view of nature at its blooming best. Visit to the Venna lake could be a good treat for the kids as here they can indulge in boating, horse riding, trampoline, and bungee jumping. Also, there are many sightseeing places in Mahabaleshwar like Arthur’s Seat, Needle Hole Point, Kate’s Point, Wilson’s Point and 3 Monkey Point, from where you can see the view of the sun gliding below the horizon, leaving behind the hues of orange. You should also stop at gardens like Mapro Gardens and Cream Corner to pluck some fresh strawberries and pick bottles of some fruit jams. If you love strawberries, you should visit Mahabaleshwar particularly in the month of May as this is the time when ‘strawberry festival’ kick-starts. Food lovers should try strawberry with cream, which is available at almost every restaurant of Manahabaleshwar.

Munnar – Perfect holiday in god’s own country

After jotting down a little bit of North, West and East India destinations, now it’s time to move to South India. Antilog Vacations says if you have been thinking Munnar is all about backwater and south Indian dishes, like mostly Kerala towns, then let me tell you that it is a leisure hill station that holds the secrets of India’s best tea and spices. In class by its self, Munnar was once the retreat hub for Britons and still retains its old world charm, which is quite evident from drowsy little bungalows that here one can see. Your kids are going to love this place as here they can see some gushing waterfalls, get to know more about tea culture, enjoy bumpy elephant rides and visit forest covers and grasslands as here where they can see the Nilgiri Tahr. With the presence of some soul soothing places like Kundala Lake, Marayoor Sandalwood Forests, Blossom Hydel Park, Echo point, Rose Garden, Mattupetty, Rajamalai National Park, and Elephant Lake, Munnar is a great place to escape for family trip from sizzling scorching summer. Cycling and trekking is the best way to get to know Munnar better.

5 Reasons Why I Would Choose Antilog Vacations For My Next Trip

Vacations are trending; there is nothing better one can think about these days than to plan and go for a getaway into some unknown land they haven’t treaded on before. Laid back life-style was a thing of the past; peeps really look forward to their vacations now-a-days, after months of labor in an arduous attempt to survive the cut-throat world. The result? - Birth of the Travel Industry, with travel agencies high on the rise, with no sign of reaching the saturation point anytime sooner. As you hit “Enter” on your keyboard, the search for vacation rentals returns with a never-ending list of travel agencies from around the world that seem to throw offers your way which look more so too good to be true (and as a matter of fact, they are). So, how I found Antilog Vacations to be different from the rest, you might feel inclined to ask. I would like to detail the answer in 5 simple points that stand testimony to Antilog Vacations’ infallible services. Here we go.

The Infinite Selection

Well, infinite sounds like a very strong word, and I am well-aware of it, but that’s exactly what you would like to label the choice of your travel options from Antilog Vacations as. Once you get familiar with the figures, you are going to feel no different. I was introduced to an inventory of 100,000 hotels, 800 airlines, and a host of limitless packages covering as many as 129 countries to choose from. Whoa!

Flexible Connection

Alright, let’s face it. We may not say it out loud, but we can really use some amount of flexibility with the tour packages that we sign up for. There always is something or the other included in the package which interests us the least, and we simply sit and wonder if only that precise activity or excursion could be replaced by some other. But alas! Itinerates come bundled and cannot be changed, or at least that’s what they tell you. But with Antilog Vacations the scenario, I found out to be, but quite the contrary. I was allowed to pick MY choice of hotels, choose only those precise activities and excursions that suited my interest, stay only for the number of days “I” wanted to and pay for only what I have chosen (no bundled packages, thank God!). And guess what? I even got a discount! Now, isn’t that awesome?

Transparent Transaction

Aah, hidden costs! I know you folks hate it; so do I. It is really shattering to realize after signing up (and of course, making the first payment) that you will need to pay much more than what has been stated before. And worst is that you can’t even withdraw or cancel your trip as you have already paid the advance, and your travel company runs on a strict policy of no-refunds. Antilog Vacations ventured to odd out on this one. I was thoroughly impressed with their honest cancellation policies (though I never had the need to cancel anything), instant package confirmation within 30 minutes, and zero hidden cost (of which I wasn’t sure about until the trip actually got over without having to shell out another extra buck); this budding team of vacation planners put forth me an experience that has indeed won my trust! No more shady affairs, Phew!

Personal Care Attention

Agree or not, but customer support should be your foremost consideration while signing up for a service; especially when a vacation is in concern. Honestly, you don’t want to end up on a foreign land, totally on your own, with no one to listen to your pleas or guide you through thick and thin. Antilog Vacations made sure at every step that there was nothing for me during the trip to complain about. I ACTUALLY enjoyed round the clock phone support manned by a team of dedicated tour managers... (Once I called to enquire about a transfer at somewhere around 11pm (IST) and my enquiry was answered promptly). You can alter bookings, make requests, and get issues solved no matter what time of the day or night it is. The team takes emergencies seriously; all you need to do is to simply make a call! Could anything be “more” easier? I was thoroughly impressed, and don’t mind admitting it at all.

Miscellaneous Information

Okay. Just do a wee bit of internet research and find out how much big brands such as MakeMyTrip and Thomas Cook score in terms of Quality of Service. Review sites such as scoopwhoop.com are reliable resources and I must tell you (in case you are too lazy to find out), these travel giants hold a tally of nothing more than 15-20%. I did my own bit of research and guess how much I found Antilog Vacations’ score in this regard? A whopping 89% (highest in the travel industry) with 70% repeat customers!!! Now, that’s an overwhelming score, No? If not, then there is even more to spoil you. Whenever there is scope these guys never fall back in upgrading your travel (I got one during my AV Mauritius trip), and it is absolutely free of cost. So, if you have booked for a standard room, who knows you might even have a deluxe. Appealing much?

That said, Antilog Vacations, as I would love to term it as, is the next big thing in the world of organized travel, and there is not even the slightest doubt to it. Consequently, I would love to recommend this agency to anyone who is a prospective traveler to whatsoever destination it might be. I’m sure AV won’t fail to impress you with a mind-boggling deal. Great going AV team, keep the excellent work up!

Kenya Trip Advice

Hi, looking for a 6-7 days plan/itinerary for a budget trip to Kenya.
Looking for suggestions on best time to visit, expected cost from India, places to visit and good and cost-effective travel companies aprt from  antilog vacations
Any help in this regard would be appreciated.

Regards,
RamKishan

Hi,

Nairobi - 2 days
Masai Mara - 2 days
Naivasha/Nakuru - 1 day
August is a good time to go to Masai mara when you can see the migration of wildebeest.
Staying inside game parks in Masai Mara is quite expensive (although good!) so you can choose to stay in one of the lodges just outside the park. Book well in advance as Masai mara is packed during august. Also post booking double check by calling the lodge for confirmation. I have seen people getting online bookings and then not being entertained by lodges because they didnt receive the confirmation.

Better to take a full package for african nations as mere online hotel  booking is a tricky situation.Other good companies are thomas cook ,abercrombie & Kent

Cheers

Hi ,

We (me and my wife) returned from a trip to Ladakh last week. We made our air travel and hotel bookings through the Antilog Vacations famous fr d region and got a budget package based on our requirements. One word to note is that we dint travelled in group package despite it ws costed lower .It ws a good decision as we were able to enjoy stuff at our own pace..standing in queues fr buses and car hs never been my idea of a vacation.Booking on the spot is mostly costly due to heavy rush in May season & even hotel keeps a margin..so ur call
Located at an altitude of over 3500 metres or almost 12,000 ft the first glimpse of Leh from the aircraft was truly magnificent and all the passengers aboard took some fantastic snaps of the snow capped peaks bordering the Himalyan kingdom. The Ladakh sarai was booked as our abode for our stay for 5 days and 4 nights. It was near to the airport and we reached the resort through the cab arranged by agent
While travelling we noticed that the main town was still subjugated by the now ruined Leh Palace and the earlier mansion of the royal family of Ladakh. The style of the palace resembled that of the Potala Palace which we had seen in pictures. As we approached the Ladakh Sarai, we found that its location was very good and in close proximity to the market.
Our room was on the second floor and the lift in the hotel was helpful as we had some heavy luggage. Another impressive thing was the presence of a 24* 7 generator which ensured the existence of power throughout, as power cuts were highly frequent in Leh. The room was around 400 sqft and had essential amenities and was backed by top grade service by the house keeping staff and crew.
The food was also excellent and the owner ( some nepali guy)and the other waiters served it piping hot making our experience all the more worthwhile. Thus overall based on our experience, the Ladakh Sarai provided a homely stay at Leh and ranks high but its just a decent abode tht fulfills ur needs.

Food ,yes ,is momos, thupka, azunomoto ka soup majorly nd thts wht u expect. In future i would suggest that a trip is planned for antilogians for ladakh ..season ends in sept so sooner the better.

UK & London trip reviews ( email)

Hi

I'm looking for tips/itineraries for a 8-9 days trip to England, Scotland and Wales via Antilog Vacations after a decent tour to Asian destinations

Am planning to travel in early Aug.

Any help/pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Kshitij'

Hi ,

2 days in London enough to strike off all the Touristy things to do ...rest of England ka no clue ! Heard Scotland trip esp. drive through is a much better thing to do than spend time in London !
Also in/around London there are lots of touristy places one can skip ...esp if you are patriotic types... lots of places where your blood will boil looking at the armory, jewels which the Brits looted from the erstwhile divided India... war memorials in the memory of Indian soldiers killed in the wars where they were forced to fight in alien countries to project Her Majesty's pride ...statues in the memory of Legends who successfully colonized us etc.

Varun Bhateja from Antilog-Mumbai chapter had been to london. He can answer any queries about london and UK

Phuket v/s Krabi v/s Koh Samu (Email) Reviews

Hi All,

Don't mean to spam, but I am planning a vacation with Antilog to Thailand in the first week of October. Please suggest, which of the 3 places Phuket/ KohSamui/ Krabi will be ideal, given that October is an off season month...
Ideally I would like to spend 3-4 days on whichever of the 3 places has some nightlife, but is not super crowded, and has natural beauty as well..clean beaches..water sports and the likes..

Regards,
Supriya

Hi ,

Phuket - Biggest island of Thailand and also the most commercial one. Good nightlife as well as option of visiting nearby islands on day trips - you'll find lots of desi janta there. Go if you have not been to thailand before.
Koh Samui - 2nd biggest island - spectacular natural beauty - less commercial than phuket - wont find much desi janta - go if you're looking for a chilliing out. nightlife options are full moon party in near by islands - apart from that not much night life (as in not after 11 pm) - otherwise a very beautiful place to go.
Krabi - best beaches among the three... Railay is spectacular....less nightlife compared to the other two but enough to keep you busy... rock climbing options... similar to phuket you can make day trips to other islands..

In Krabi, if you guys don't mind splurging a bit, try the Rayavadee resort there, it's on Railay beach itself. Absolutely spectacular location with great water sports, lovely food, lots of Other amenities in the resort. Even the cottages are probably the best you would ever see in a beach resort. You can also watch Thai Kickboxing nearby which happens 2-3 days a week, moderate quality but for a first time watch with friends is fun, especially with noisy crowd, lots of betting and beer.

Only problem is that Krabi does not have too much nightlife outside the resort barring few places to go for dinner.

Had gone for a Antilog Group Tour in March and everyone fell in love with the resort.
bangkok - absolutely worth going there! shop a lot - esp if you wanna buy a BIG TV. amazing city - super night life (rooftop bars/clubs etc)

pattaya - mainly for going in a 'boys gang' - wont recommend for a family trip
