On our recent visit to Singapore, we asked our travel operator Antilog Vacations to help us with a booking for a mid-range resort with a value for money crew and property location. True their word of being budget travel agents & portal they booked the Park Avenue Changi in the heart of place. The hotel appeared very tall and as you approach the place you can understand the structure overlooking the pavement.
The hotel sports a modern and comfortable look and moreover being located in the heart of the City. The rooms provide excellent views of the city and the harbour. Views of the lined sail ships and the boats from the balcony were one of our favourite pass times as we spent time in our room. We were placed out of the room 109 on the fifth floor. At the topmost floor there is a swimming pool and a gym facility.
My room included amenities like a sofa cum patio living arrangement, a double bed, coffee maker table & chairs, mini fridge, plasma TV, Tea making facilities, a stocky hairdryer, iron table and a steam iron. The room safe and the WIFI router completed the look. Access to the room was through a chip card and one small negative which we faced was that our chip was not functioning on one particular day and hence we had some difficulty in getting entry to our own room. Thus check with the hotel authorities beforehand and arrange for a proper working card.
The restaurant, bar & lounge and the sitting area were neatly decorated and maintained and had a sombre ambience. The gesture of free drink on arrival appealed to us as we were quiet tired from our journey.
