Minesha Jethva - Antilog Vacations Auckland, New Zealand Review AVB0096088

Located in the Federal Street, the Skycity Hotel Rydges was the abode for me and my husband in Auckland for three nights before we departed on a cruise near the Waiwera region in the north. We were lucky to have got a guide, who stayed with us during our stay. The Rydges assigned the guide based on our interaction with Antilog Vacations who had a tie up with the resort and helped us accordingly. He took us to Runciman in the south and Kumeu in the northwest on the consequent days. My husband liked the segment from Waiwera to Whangaparaoa Peninsula the best as he is a photographer and the area had some superb sights. The arch is separate from its nearest neighbouring suburb of Long Bay and hence can be seen clearly.

The rooms which we got in the Rydges were nicely maintained and well attended to. The beds were made of foam and were comfy. Our luggage was present before we reached our room and thus the service was top notch throughout our stay. We got an upgrade based on some talks given by the Antilog Vacations and thus the room we got was larger and had a panoramic and even beautiful view.

The butler called the airport to inquire about our flight timings and ensured us a hassle free drop replete with all custom and other clearances for the things we purchased. We had to get on a cruise ship in only a couple of days and without this kind of service it would not have been possible. Thus it is the best place with the best service as we felt that all the staff at the Rydges hotel take a lot of pride in looking after all the guests, while at the same time according apt attention to all.
