Akhil Dhar - Antilog Vacations Mauritius Review AVB0098667

The Grand Mauritian Resort & Spa provided an excellent 5 star hotel stay replete with private beaches and superb ambience. We booked the resort with the help of Antilog Vacations. They informed us about an interesting booking option i.e. booking through the Starwood Preferred Guest or the SPG option and it helped us getting a free upgrade from our existing room. So kudos to our Antilog Vacations for the same.

As we entered the Grand Mauritian Resort, we sighted the private boat house located in the North West corner. The private boat house intrigued us greatly initially. Apart from the awesome stay, it included a bunch of options like boating, tube riding and speed boating. We used all the selections in the course of or stay. The Mandara Spa located besides the boat house was an excellent place to unwind as the therapists were skilled and combined superb therapies with the tranquil feel of the water and the retreat. The spa is probably the best kept secret of the resort as it will definitely pleasantly surprise you. The gym or the Fitness centre was located on the first floor of the Mandara and it was really well developed. A group of elliptical trainers and treadmills provided nice workout options too.

The next day we went for a trip to the Saya de Malha Bank and the Hawkins Bank areas. The areas were quite developed in fishing. The tour operator fixed us up with a free tour of the fishing techniques. We had lunch at the beach restaurant located by its side. Fresh fish curry was the norm of the day and they were best enjoyed with the steamed rice they served. Talking of food our resort served great quality stuff too and the Indian dinners on alternate days were really fantastic.

Andricia Ramirez - Antilog Vacations Mauritius Review AVB0097064

We (me and my boyfriend) stayed at the Hilton Mauritius Resort for four days. We were travelling from South Africa and had booked the lovely resort through the online portal of Antilog Vacations. The site came up in a random search and fulfilled our expectations.

The gardens are very nice and neatly maintained. A road adjacent to the hotel starts from the garden and is generally used for travel to the city or the beach. Though the road is a little narrow but travelling as a couple the route is quite romantic. A long stretch of the Flic en Flac public beach area is nearby which leads to a plethora of beach restaurants and shacks.

The beach is a non swimming one but a haven for photographers given its exquisite milieu. Small coral and pebble pieces line the beach and hence it is advisable not to walk bare footed. Another interesting thing is that small canoes, paddle boats and kayaks are available nearby freely and competent people could go for a ride as the sea is not that rough. Snorkeling over the nearby coral reef is another must try in case you are here. Gear and other stuff are easily available here.

The room was quite spacious but surprisingly the bed’s mattress was a little hard. The room was replenished and cleared twice per day and had basic facilities. The bath could have been a little larger though and usual stuff was supplied. Robes and slippers were also provided.

The spa available at the resort was highly marketed and we were really looking forward to it. It was not the best massage we had experienced and we would have liked slightly better experience given the tariff we were paying. The gym and the sauna - steam rooms though were located nearby and aided in providing a holistic experience.

Visit to Mauritius - AVB0098125

My husband and I spent most wonderful days in Mauritius with our 2 kids, daughter 7 years old and son 4 years old. It was our 10th anniversary celebration. We planned our package through Antilog Vacations and got very fair deal. We booked the package for 5 days including hotel, drop and pick up from airport. And the best in the package was the hotel- Hilton Mauritius Resort and spa.

The hotel is located on the west coast of the island, in the scenic village of Flic en Flac. The hotel is one hour drive from the airport. As we reach the airport cab was waiting for us, we reached the hotel 2 hours before our check in time so we had to extra charges for early check in. Finally we enter our room which was exotic.

Room features-

  1. Room has Mauritian décor and modern amenities.
  1. All rooms arranged in small pavilion surrounded by tropical landscaping which gives the fantastic effect to the room exterior.
  1. The room extended with balcony from there you can view garden and sea and the feel the cool breeze whole day and night.

Start the day with the hearty breakfast or nutritious light bite; simply relax with a cup of coffee in the hotel lounge. Everything was amazing- the aqua bar located between the pool and beach, the ginger Thai restaurant to enjoy romantic dinner, La Pomme D’ Amour the buffet restaurant, Les Coquillages a beach restaurant for lunch and Melanzane a gourmet restaurant.

The hotel offers many water sports both for adults and kids. My kids enjoyed lot over there. We too enjoyed swimming with dolphin which was the best activities. The nearby local attraction from the hotel are Arena nightclub just 2 km from the hotel, Natural history museum just 10 miles away, Mauritius city centre 25 km from hotel.

This is the best hotel, I will recommend to everyone visiting Mauritius along with the services of best tour operators ‘Antilog Vacations’.

Praneet Pathak - Visit to Mauritius AVB0097261

I have never been on a holiday as good as the one I recently spent at the Casuarina hotel in Mauritius. I was pretty naïve about hotels in Mauritius so i booked our trip from Mauritius experts antilogvacations.com. The flights were good with great service on board and then we were lead to the hotel via a private mini bus. The hotel was splendid and is really close to the beach Trou Aux Biches which is very clean and peaceful.

The staff is predominantly English and French speaking. They were really cheerful and had nice personalities. The hotel has a beautiful garden with nice flowers and variety of herbal plantations. My wife was enchanted the moment we entered our room. It was very spacious and all filled with amenities and facilities. There was a TV with satellite connection, air conditioner, free Wi-Fi, hair dryer, shaving kit and so on. The furnishing included a big bed with really comfortable mattresses, a pair of chairs with a small table and a closet. But we did have a leak in the ceiling due to heavy rainfall. The bathroom smelled nice from the aerosols that I guess had been put up there.

The beach was spellbinding. The sea was the major part of the beauty. It was serene beyond imagination. The panorama was worth catching and the sunset was extremely gorgeous. There was a large amount of aquatic life to be seen there. We explored it on our snorkel trip and it was fun.

Except that there were many other things like diving, motor boating and sporty stuff to participate in. We had our food most of the times at the Fingers. The restaurant served scrumptious local dishes. All of them had a unique taste and the chef had skills par excellence. The texture, the colors, the taste… everything was kept care of and the food was commendable.

The hotel’s swimming pools also were well managed and I used to have a nice swim every morning. Miss the time but nevertheless. I am going to be there again for sure. Thank you Antilog vacations for giving us a memorable experience. Strongly recommended to all!

Visit to Mauritius - AVB0076732

Les Cocotiers Hotel, at the northwest Mauritius is a very pristine resort and is devoted to providing all visitors an authentically lavish journey of the very premium on offer in Mauritius. This is my second visit to Mauritius with the same tour operator ANTILOG VACATIONS and I found it the most amazing one. Its exclusive location offers access to spotless beaches, excellent scuba diving opportunities and a unwind environment.

The moment I entered the hotel I was treated like a royal. The security is good and takes round of the resort all time. The room in which I stay was very modern and has all the basic amenities and very well decorated. You feel like home. But the thing I like the most was the swimming pool … a fabulous one crystal clear water I must say that it looks better than drinking water.

The breakfast and the super at night all was fabulous and I enjoyed it a lot. Here in the restaurants you can taste the genuine Chinese, Indian and continental food it provides you memorable dinner ever. The attendant of the room is well behaved and do his job beautifully the management has recruited fabulous and well mannered people to look after us. The immaculate and fresh air, cool and calm environment, and remarkably pleasant ambience of this hills recoil you the feelings refreshed and rejuvenated.

A fully equipped gym and swimming pool is available for the esteemed visitors to relax oneself. There is a game area where I played table tennis and football with my friends and it was a great experience to play in a healthy environment with all gearing kits. There is wildlife everywhere you will find a different types of birds and animals around. The guest can spend their time in snorkeling in the Indian Ocean. It’s a very good place to visit away from the webs of the city to enjoy and relax oneself.

Kshitij Wadhawan, Bangalore -Mauritius Package AVB0086482

Hey everyone, i had a Fabulous tour to Mauritius! It is a perfect site for people (especially for Indians) who are looking for a foreign visit. It is a fully loaded site with several entertaining sun, sand and water activities. I had traveled to Mauritius with my wife, along with the great efforts of best tour planner ‘ANTILOG VACATIONS’. Must select cool, dry and sunny months (May- December) to fully enjoy the tour within pleasant weather conditions.

It was a relaxed tour for us with the complete pre-planning and reservations of hotels, guide, transfers, flights and related parts by Antilog group. Actually, Mauritius is a scenic paradise.. so, stay cool and calm and enjoy various entertaining activities there. You may try the wonderful list of Watersports there from snorkelling, sea kayaking, glass bottom boat ride, sea karting, Pedal boating, submarine scooters up to sunset cruise.

We also covered such attractions along with the visit of Casela Nature Park, Pamplemousses Botanical Garden during a half day tour and enjoy safari and Ostrich & Zebra like animals. Here, you can also use a budget savvy tip by accompanying another couple for a taxi sharing. For shopping and eatery Grand Baie and Super U mall are good options.

Our schedule planned by Antilog Vacations-
Except these minor things, we want to share the detailed plan. Antilog Vacations sales executive planned three major tours for us within our package. I think, it is a perfect way to timely cover the entire site. Maybe, this sharing will equally helpful for others who want to majorly cover the popular attractions of Mauritius.

a) East Tour: Belle Mare is best to enjoy aquatic activities. Within a package of around 6500 MUR/couple, you'll cover undersea walk, tube riding, parasailing etc. Another popular attraction is Ile Aux Cerfs island in East tour where you can enjoy a scenic nature within the surroundings of clear turquoise water.
b) North Tour: You can cover Citadel Fort Adelaide, Sugar Estate & Museum, Botanical Garden, Shopping complex and craft market during the North tour.
c) South Tour: During South tour, one can visit Chamarel- multi color earth, waterfalls, ship making factory, Hindu temple and some shopping sites. South Tour is perfect to enjoy adventure activities, especially Quad Biking.

SUGGESTION-
I want to share major tips regarding Immigration Documents & currency. Visa is on arrival is a good news in the case of Indians. But, don't forget to carry Passport, Return tickets and Hotel Voucher with you.
  • In case of currency exchange, I followed the rule of INR- USD- MUR (means INR to USD from local forex then USD to MUR at Mauritius Airport).
  • We don't need huge amount due to the package facility avail from Antilog Vacations. Like, we spend MUR only for shopping, lunch, spa and water activities. I think the amount of (15000 MUR approx.= 500 USD) is sufficient for a couple with their 7 days package.
  • Must keep an extra secure amount of 100 USD for any emergency situation. There are other local sites like Waterfront Mall in North tour to exchange USD into MUR.
  • For the return back, don't forget to exchange MUR to USD at airport before your immigration process.

I think such tips are excellent to make your visit memorable, as in our case the entire things were properly planned by expert group ‘Antilog Vacations’. It was my first visit and I almost share all the things which I collect with the help of experts. If you really want to spend memorable moments on the land of Mauritius, then try to consider such tips.
